Growing up in a land far, far away in a small town where kangaroos outnumbered people, Andre would lay awake at night under the eucalyptus trees and dream of the stars, or exotic locales with strange names, Gotham, Endor.....Bend??? On some nights he could hear the distant song of the kookaburra calling the dance, and despite the unfortunate fact he was stricken with the awkwardness of two left feet, on those nights he would lead his imaginary pet kangaroo in an awkward inspired waltz. "Matilda" he would say "someday I'm going to be somebody, not just a bogan. But a restaurant manager!" To which Matilda responded with a heartfelt wink and a "Fair Dinkum!" And that lad did just that, and more. For two decades, with some breaks, through tango's and cha cha's, Andre has been a constant backbeat, providing Greg's Grill with a rhythmic purpose and a smile, instilling community, civic engagement and environmental responsibility. As he hits the dance floor on this next exciting iteration of Dancing With The Stars, he knows it won't be a walk on the moon. There will be stumbles and missteps, as he Swayze's along, shining a spotlight on the Sparrow Clubs organization, the kids, our community, and a cause. worthy of your applause!

Annabel, a Bend, Oregon native, has always been passionate about dancing. With over 12 years of experience in Latin dancing, Annabel specializes in bachata. She first learned to dance bachata with Andres Garcia from Latin Dance Bend. Her journey has taken her to many Latin dance festivals all over the world, where she has trained with professionals and performed both as a soloist and on teams. Now, as the director of a bachata ladies team, she channels her passion into empowering women through the art of dance. Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars presents a unique opportunity for Annabel to combine her love for dance with her commitment to helping others. She is excited to showcase her skills, connect with fellow participants, and contribute to the success of this wonderful event. Annabel is ready to dance her way into the hearts of the audience and help support her partner to raise funds for a very deserving cause.
