About This Event
Join the YMCA of South Boston/Halifax County at the Farewell Summer 5K on Saturday, September 19! Runners and walkers are all welcome at this morning of fun, fitness, and community.
At 9 a.m., we'll kick things off with the official race on our USATF Certified course. Afterward, we'll come together for food, music, and awards. The Tiny Tots race begins around 11 a.m.
The Farewell Summer 5K benefits the YMCA's IMPACT Fund, helping ensure that everyone in our community has access to life-changing programs and services regardless of their ability to pay.
Participants ages 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another runner aged 16 and up.
Registration is $20 now and $25 on race day.
The first 50 registrants will receive a T-shirt!
