Reading provides us with a magical escape to a new world. When kids have their own book, they can develop a passion for reading early on that lasts a lifetime. But many children don’t have access to an age-appropriate book.
CCRC’s What a Difference a Book Makes campaign has provided books to children for over 15 years.
Our Laughs4Literacy comedy event benefits our campaign, meaning your sponsorship helps put books directly into the hands of a child in our local community.
Our 7th annual Laughs4Literacy event is in full effect! We will host this night of fun on August 29, 2024, at the Transplants Brewing Company in Palmdale from 6pm-9pm. The night offers lots of laughs with a lineup of 7 hilarious comedians in a comfortable and ecletic venue with a great selection of amazing raffle prizes!
We are asking you to Sponsor the event at any level. Your sponsorship helps raise additional funds to continue the purchase of books and literacy tools. To ensure that your name and sponsor level is included in event signage and print materials, please submit no later than August 16th.
