For my birthday I’d be humbled if friends and family would consider a gift to The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. This is not only my employer, but an organization that exists to provide jobs and opportunities for personal growth of people who are blind or DeafBlind.

I have personally benefited from the training offered at the Lighthouse including: O&M (safe travel), technology, Pro-Tactile (communicating by touch), and conversational ASL, and believe so much in what we do that I regularly donate out of each paycheck in support of our employee programs and services.

This year, the Lighthouse turns 100 years old, and with help from people like me and you, we can ensure the great work of the Lighthouse continues.
