An Inspiring Evening Honoring Change Makers & Barrier Breakers in Sport
About the Power of Sport Gala
The Power of Sport Gala is a decades-long tradition of honoring individuals who use their power and influence in sports to break barriers and draw awareness to social justice causes. Previous honorees include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Robin Roberts, Jordn Wieber, Jackie Robinson and many others.
This year's Gala was held on October 24 in Orlando, FL. Presented by Major League Baseball and NASCAR, the Gala honored four individuals who embody our belief that sport is a powerful unifier for all.
Funds raised at the Gala further the Institute's reach and fuel our work to work to inspire, to unite, and to create hope. Thank you for your support!
