Tropical Treasures

Tropical Treasures is designed as an immersive collection of tropical aviaries where guests can experience colorful and unique bird species from around the world. Rather than simply viewing animals from a distance, guests are surrounded by lush landscaping and the sights and sounds of tropical bird life, with a future walk-through aviary creating an even more immersive experience.

Why It Matters

Tropical Treasures is more than a collection of aviaries. The project expands the Wildlife Center’s ability to provide exceptional care for a wider variety of tropical birds, including species of conservation concern, while giving guests new opportunities to connect with and learn about bird life from around the world. It also creates additional opportunities to work with zoological institutions, breeding programs, and conservation partners to help support the long-term sustainability of these species.
