10th Annual Cheval Cares Family Fun Run 5K

10^TH ANNIVERSARY CHEVAL CARES 5K DONATES

ALMOST $40,000 TO PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH  

We are so grateful for every participant, sponsor, donor, vendor, and volunteer that contributed to the success of our very special 10^th Anniversary Cheval Cares 5k Family Fun Run!  BECAUSE OF THE GENEROUS OUTPOURING OF SUPPORT FROM AROUND OUR COMMUNITY ONCE AGAIN, together we netted almost $40,000 for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to fund research and hope for children battling cancer.

PARTICIPANTS & RACE RESULTS:

Great job to our runners and walkers of all ages that completed the 5k in person and a huge thank you to those virtual participants who still supported the cause in their own way!  We were fortunate enough to have friends who participated in New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, and even Germany!!!  We also received donations from California, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and even Canada!  It means so much to know that our small but mighty community Cheval Cares event has made an impact in other places too!

We would especially like to recognize MICHAEL DOUGLAS and his team HANNAH’S HONOR for raising a record of over $7,000 for pediatric cancer research this year!  Wow!  You all are incredible!  Michael organizes this team each year in loving memory of his sweet daughter Hannah and we are so blessed to be able to partner together with this group in funding research in her honor.  

One more big shoutout to the “KIDS FOR A CURE” team for organizing a fantastically successful book sale once again.  What a special group of compassionate young ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for working hard to raise almost $1,000 for the cause!!!

CHILDREN WE HONOR:

As you know, the true inspiration behind this entire event is the brave children who are warriors in the fight against cancer…OUR SUPERHEROES, as I referred to them at the starting line this year!  These children are the reason we have come together for 10 years now, and we want to continue funding much needed research and hope in their honor - Amaya, Aubriana, Brittany, Callie, Connor, Davis, Gabria,
