Race Day Questions and Answers

Where should I go? 

Reid Park, Ramada 20 & 22. Located by Country Club & 22nd St. The Erik Hite Foundation Event will be located in the northwest corner of the park. Look for the Concert Place Entrance. 

What time should I arrive? 

6:00 a.m. - Race and Fun Run check-in begins on the day of.  *$50 Late Registration Fee available, but no t-shirt guaranteed.

7:00 a.m. - Please feel free to enjoy the Free Community Family Festival Event and Community Vehicle Showcase with food trucks and other vendors. 

Where should I park? 

There will be one place for public parking that is near the event. Please use extreme caution and patience when entering the parking areas. 

  • Please enter at the northwest corner of Country Club and Camino Campestre the Concert Place (entrance off Country Club).

Where do I go when I get there? 

If you still need to register for the event, head to Ramada 20. If you have already received your bag with race items, no check in is necessary, please proceed to the starting line 10 minutes prior to race time. 

What time do the races begin? 

  • 8:00 am – Official 5K Run  
  • 8:10 am – 2 Mile Walk
  • 9:30 am – Kid’s Race (12 and under)

How do I know where to run? 

There will be directional arrows to help guide you along the course, mile markers along the course. We will have large maps detailing both courses at packet pick-up and at the event. 

Water Stations? 

There will be one water station on the course located at the halfway mark turnaround on Broadway and Alvernon.

What do I do when I cross the finish line? 

When you cross the finish line grab yourself some provided water and a grab and go breakfast. The race results, final ceremony, and awards will begin around 9:45 am. 

Results? 

The results for the race will be available after the race at the event and also available to view on our website later in the evening.
