As an alumna of the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Alabama A&M University—where I now proudly serve as Chairperson—I understand firsthand the power of access, opportunity, and mentorship in shaping future leaders. I created this fundraising page to establish an endowed fund that will support the next generation of psychologists, counselors, and mental health researchers—especially those committed to advancing equity and wellness in underserved communities. This endowment will provide lasting resources for student scholarships, research initiatives, professional development, and licensure preparation. It is an investment not only in our students’ academic journeys, but also in the mental health workforce our communities urgently need. With your support, we can build a legacy that empowers lives and careers for generations to come.
