Fifteen years ago, Tina and I planted a seed that became Minds Matter Southern California, and we never imagined the movement we were creating or the lives we would change. Today, hundreds of first-generation and low-income students have discovered that the path to college, graduation, and meaningful careers is not only possible but within their reach. As we expand into a seven-year program guiding students from high school through college and into their early careers, we are asking friends and family to help us build sustainable revenue by committing to monthly donations, with $15 per month as a powerful starting point—one dollar for each of our years of impact. Some may choose to give more, perhaps $150 or $1500, or even step forward as an angel donor with a larger gift, helping us reach our campaign goal of $150,000. Every contribution fuels opportunity, builds legacy, and ensures that the next 15 years will be even more transformative than the last.
