Our little SUPERHERO was born with severe Hemophilia B. I vividly remember the day when our doctor pulled a chair into the hospital room for me to sit on and delivered the news. I was calm yet terrified, struggling to understand the implications of it all. We were new to the bleeding disorders community, and there was so much we didn't know then. 

If I could, I would embrace and comfort all the mothers who receive difficult news about their babies, million times over. I would encourage them to immerse themselves in knowledge and empower themselves to advocate. Having a child with a bleeding disorder, can feel lonely and isolating at times. We have persevered through the challenges!

It is truly beautiful all the learning and lessons our amazing children bless us with. While hemophilia initially halted us in our tracks, with time, practice, and courage, we now live a remarkably normal life and are incredibly grateful for where we are today.
