In the time that I knew her, Brenna spent her life lighting up rooms, filling them with laughter and happiness. She was a true light in the world, like the sun, not stingy of where her light showed and who got to bathe in it, but rather inviting of everyone to smile, feel her love, and believe in themselves. She made my days better. She fought for what she loved and what was right. The fight that she had shows now, through her family and friends in the fight to raise awareness for epilepsy, in hopes of not allowing this disease to take another life, sibling, child, or friend away. I am fundraising in honor of Brenna, to continue to fight that she started so long ago, and to shed even a fraction of light she shown so freely on a daily basis.
