Every September, I lace up my sneakers with one name on my heart—my mom, Pamela Boyd. She was strong, joyful, and deeply loved. Before she passed in 2012, Marian House gave us the gift of more time with her—more laughter, more healing, and precious years of sobriety that brought us closer together.

That’s why I lead Team Pamdukes. Because we believe in second chances. In dignity. In recovery. And in honoring the women—like my mom—who show us what courage really looks like.

This walk isn’t just about miles. It’s about momentum. It’s about making sure other women and their children find the same hope, stability, and support that Marian House gave us.
