80 years of nuclear weapons since the Trinity Test, 16 July 1945. 12.331 nuclear warheads out there today in 15 countries [per Nobel Peace Laureate ICANW.org], virtually no treaties still in force, and we continue to increase the military budget like there's no tomorrow!!

One of the last acts our friend Mary Pat Clarke (1941-2024) undertook was to join, support and walk with WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER last fall, helping raise $5,228 for Marian House, a truly great 44yo program that has helped over 4,500 women and children rebuild their lives. Marian House has to hold fundraiser events like this because we insanely prioritize military overspending over human needs. WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER helps raise funds for Marian House while raising visibility for peace and common sense. Mary Pat can't participate this year but. thankfully, you can!
