Many of you have sponsored me the last few years in my efforts to support Junior Achievement through the annual Big Four Bowl-a-thon. It’s that time of year again and I would like to ask you to support me in this year's Bowl-a-Thon. Luckily, as any of you that have seen me bowl know, my bowling skills are not what you're supporting! Rather, I am asking you to support Junior Achievement, an incredible organization on whose board of directors I am honored to serve. For those of you that don't know, Junior Achievement is the largest organization in the world dedicated to educating students about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement recruits community and business role models as class volunteers for kindergarten through 12th grade at no cost to schools. Junior Achievement is also well aligned with the firm's strategic support of education and entrepreneurialism, two of our three focus areas!
While I understand you all receive requests to support so many great organizations, I would ask you to include Junior Achievement in your priorities as a valuable part of our community - one that touches and transforms the next generation.
Through your amazing support the past ten years I have been able to raise over $40,000 for Junior Achievement...and to cross the next milestone, I have set a goal this year to raise $10,000 and hope you can help me achieve it!
