I adopted my wonderful Carly dog (aka Quinn) from APS of Durham in February 12, 2012. Carly is short for Carolina Valentine - my Valentine, my heart dog. When asked what kind of dog she is, I tell them what my vet said "a Durham brown dog." Carly and I are a K-9 Nose Work team, she's perfect for it. She is very nosy and we found a fun sport for her to use her super nose.
I thank APS of Durham for taking such good care of Carly and her siblings. They were sickly little puppies dropped off at the shelter. APS nursed them to health and started teaching them basic manners. Carly has been a healthy girl and a joy. She's my little love. Carly and I live with her sister, Bonnie, from Independent Animal Rescue.
Please support APS of Durham - they do such a wonderful job of caring for the animals until they can be adopted. APS works with you to provide resources to make sure your adoption is successful. My favorite bumper sticker is "Who Rescued Who?" Rescues are the best!! Please consider donating to the APS of Durham.
