Moonpie spent the first year of her life roaming the back alleys of south Durham. Her street name was HereKittyKitty - she still answers to that sometimes.

Now-a-days, Moonpie sleeps at the foot of the bed, gets to eat Salmon Uramaki and gets all the petting she can stand. APS took her off the street, gave her a place to stay and gave her the medical care she needed. If it weren't for APS, Moonpie might still be on the streets, producing litter after litter of feral cats, stealing scraps from the dumpsters behind restuarants.
