My Personal Fundraising Page

 

On February 28th, I will be cycling on a spin-bike, outdoors in the middle of winter (ME?!?!), to raise money for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Boston.  It will be a reminder that spending just one hour out in the cold, rain, or snow is nothing compared to living without the comforts of a home.  

My firm has been participating in this event for about five years.  Due to my recently-adopted healthier lifestyle approach, this will be my first year.  Help me reach my goal of $350 by making a donation to my page where all proceeds will benefit HomeStart, Inc., a nonprofit committed to ending and preventing homelessness in Greater Boston. (It costs HomeStart $700 to prevent a family from homelessness and $1,030 to move a family out of a shelter and into a permanent home. So for every $1,030 we raise, you will be part of the reason a family is no longer homeless!)

Last year over 300 riders raised almost $200,000, which made a tremendous impact in the lives of those HomeStart serves.
