Background: This is the 6th year DHG has had teams participate in the Junior Achievement Bowl for JA event and it's an amazing experience. It provides an opportunity to bond with co-workers and, more importantly, raise money for an amazing organization. The Bowl for JA event is the main fundraising event Junior Achievement has each year to provide programs at no charge for over 25,000 students.

Personal: I have participated in the Junior Achievement Bowling for 7 years (this year being my 8th). I have been able to see how amazing this group is and how much they do for our young community. They not only doing the Bowling event but also have the JA in a Day and Finance Park programs. These opportunities are amazing for Central Virginia's youth. Having financial literacy at a young age can do wonders for a child that will soon be an adult in our society! Junior Achievment does everything it can to provide young adults knowledge to help them be more successful.
