As you may already know, I’m participating in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon again this year as one of the Company Coordinators for Caterpillar Financial. I am excited to participate in something that allows myself and my company to have fun and build on team morale, while also making a difference in the Middle Tennessee community.

Part of my involvement with the bowl-a-thon is to raise much needed funds for this great cause.  Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee is the only organization entirely dedicated to preparing kids to lead healthy financial lives.  Driven by a force of nearly 2,000 volunteers each year, JA delivers relevant experiential learning for 31,000 K-12 students that focus on three core areas:  financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.  JA lessons, and the volunteers leading them, give kids the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices.  JA strives every day to position our youth for a successful and sustainable future.
