On Friday, April 29, 2016, Scott and Ashley will be competing as jockeys in the third Leaders of Lakeland swan race at The Lakeland Derby on Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. This event will raise funds for Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM) and its programs. LVIM is a volunteer-run medical clinic that provides free primary healthcare to the working uninsured of Polk County.

The Lakeland Derby incites friendly competition between jockey teams, as each team works to raise the greatest amount for LVIM.
