Please support me as I participate in the Capital Area Humane Society’s Virtual Walk for the Animals.
Twenty years ago, we adopted our first cats, Molly and Montgomery, from CAHS. Mason joined the crew the following year. Since then we have adopted other cats and dogs. We have also fostered cats. For 19 of the years, it has been a wonderful experience being able to volunteer my time there. It has been difficult not being able to go visit with the animals during the Covid 19 crisis. Now more than ever, the shelter needs your help.
Every day, animals arrive at the doors of the Capital Area Humane Society with nothing more than hope for a better future. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer, but CAHS is there to take these animals in, and provide them with food, shelter, medical care, and love.
With no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any other humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps CAHS going. Please, help me in supporting this critical work, that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort, and unconditional love with a forever family.
