Like so many other events recently, this year's Capital Area Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals is being held virtually. You can join on-line via Facebook from 11-12 to watch the pet costume contest and doggy ice cream eating contest.
With the COVID pandemic, CAHS needs the help of the community more than ever this year. In March, all the shelter's animals went to foster, just like our foster (now our adopted) dog Hoolu. This allowed staff to prepare and care for even more animals who were in need due to this crisis!
CAHS relies only on the support of the community to continue its daily operations. It is not affiliated with any other humane organization, and does not receive state, county or federal funding. Please, help me in supporting this critical work, that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort, and unconditional love with a forever family.
Any amount you may be able to give will help tremendously - it all adds up! To donate online, please click the “Donate Now” button to the right.
Thank you for your support!
