My work with students!

Hello Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Welcome to my page! As you may know, I have worked for Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA) for the past 3 years. I'm proud to work for CIS in San Antonio and i'm grateful you are taking time to learn more about our efforts.

If you don’t know much about CIS we work with students in over 100 schools across 12 school districts in San Antonio to support them and help them overcome any barriers to success.  Whether it’s through academic support, help with attendance, assistance with basic needs, or mental health services and counseling, we are working hard to make sure the next generation is prepared to succeed and change the world.

I specifically work with PACE Wellness- Parent and Child Emotional Wellness as the program lead to support ages 3-5 Head Start students and families who need that social emotional support and provide them with counseling and social services.

We are currently raising money through the Champions Fore Charity fundraiser which will help us continue serving students and families in need. Please consider donating and helping us with this agency-wide fundraiser. I hope you will join me in becoming a Champion fore Kids!

Valero's Fueling The Drive

Twenty-five (25) lucky donors will be randomly drawn to each win a $100 Valero gas gift card compliments of Valero. Winners will be selected after the conclusion of the fundraising campaign which ends April 9th.

Guess The Champion Contest

Guess who won the 2021 Valero Texas Open Champion will be for a change to win a Stay & Play Gift Package to TPC San Antonio and the JW Marriott San Antonio Country Resort & Spa. Participating donors who have provided an email address will receive an email from tournament officials after the player field is announced on Friday, March 26th. Donors will have until Wednesday, March 31 to select from the player field who they believe will win the tournament. 

The winner will be drawn from those who correctly guessed the tournament champion and receive the grand prize along with earning the beneftitting charity a donation of $5,000. If more than one person correctly guesses, a drawing amongst those who guessed correctly will be conducted. If no one correctly guesses, a drawing among all donors will take place.

Stay & Play Package includes:

  • Three (3) night stay at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa
  • Breakfast for two (2) each morning)
  • Two (2) rounds of golf for two at TPC San Antonio
  • Spa service for two (2)
