It’s a Saturday afternoon.  Standing on the tarmac of Coastal Airport in Georgetown, DE, you’ll see this group of hardy souls waiting for the plane.   Not just an ordinary plane, but the Wings of Rescue plane!  All of a sudden you hear the words, “there’s the plane!” only to learn it’s not the plane.  The group gets back to their chitchatting, but then again, you hear, “that has to be the plane, Wings of Rescue!”  The group stands quietly as the plane gently makes its’ landing with his precious cargo.  In the distance you can hear a faint barking but as the plane gets closer, there is no doubt, you hear the sound of dogs barking.  Maybe the barking is because they’ve been given a second chance!  I don’t know about the others, but every time Wings of Rescue lands and gets closer, I get a very large lump in my throat and there’s always a tear that follows.
