2022 Building Tomorrows Run/Walk

Join The Arc of Essex County for our 24th Annual Building Tomorrows 5K Run and Family Walk on Saturday, April 9 to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

After two years of virtual events, we are thrilled to announce that we will be back IN-PERSON at The Clipper Pavilion in the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange.

9:15 to 10:15 a.m. - Walk Registration
10 a.m. - 5K Awards Ceremony
10:30 a.m. - Walk Kicks Off
10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Entertainment & Activities, including a 45-minute magic show by Ringling Bros. magician Kevin Carr, cooking demonstrations, interactive bubble stations, and more!

Runners:

$30 run registration
Includes race t-shirt*
(t-shirt guaranteed for all runners who register by Friday, March 25)
Includes free entry to entertainment & activities

Walkers:

$10 donation
Includes free entry to entertainment & activities
Walkers who raise $25+ will receive an event t-shirt

Entertainment & Activities:

Free for all registered participants and children 5 years old and under
$5 per person for non-registrants
