On November 10, 2014, I went to the hospital because I hadn't felt Sadie moving in a while (that day or the day before, as far as I could remember). When our doctor told us she couldn't find a heartbeat, I couldn't believe it. I had had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby! I didn't know kick counting was so vitally important. If I had been educated about kick counts, I would have gone in sooner. I don't know if it would have saved her life, but I do know that there *are* and *will be* babies who can be saved through educating their parents on the importance of kick counting! I am so honored to be working in Sadie's honor to end preventable stillbirths throughout the world.
Did you know it costs just 14 cents to educate and empower an expectant parent to track their baby's movements in the third trimester? By donating to Every Woman Counts, your gift goes a long way and has the power to save a life.
Every gift will go directly toward sending Count the Kicks educational materials to more expectant parents, provider offices, clinics, nurses, midwives and birthing hospitals. Thank you for helping us save more babies!
