Your Support Will:
Strengthen our Washington, DC Hostage Advocacy by:
- Providing relevant US hostage/wrongful detainee research to support their return
- Raising awareness of increasing US nationals wrongfully detained abroad
- Working with our US government, third party experts and American families to:
- Maximize the implementation, funding and needed amendments to the Levinson Hostage taking & Accountability Act
- Convene & collaborate with hostage enterprise stakeholders to strategize to bring US national’s home
- Prioritize return of our US nationals
Provide preventive safety education to:
- Increase access to preventive journalist safety curricula by:
- Continuing outreach to all US schools of communications/journalism
- Providing safety training to freelance journalists through our partnership with Head Set, an immersive VR training program.
- Collaborating with ACOS (A Culture of Safety) Alliance
- Developing a travel abroad safety module for US travelers
