As June 30th approaches and we come to the end of our 2022 fiscal year, it is evident that this is a time of new beginnings here at Center for Global Impact. Cindy Neal has joined the CGI team and has a new beginning as our Executive Director. We are grateful that God led her to join in the work here at CGI to help lead us into the future!
It is also a time of new beginnings for the students in CGI’s vocational training programs. Between now and the end of August, CGI will graduate a combined 15 students from the Imprint Project and Culinary Training Center. For the past 2 years, these students have received:

General education
-
Life skills training
-
Spiritual mentorship
-
And training in their respective vocational track of either sewing or culinary arts.
Despite going through the COVID-19 pandemic, not a single student dropped out of the programs. We have been amazed at the determination and dedication of these students to successfully complete their training!
These students are embarking on a new beginning that starts with the dignity of a great accomplishment of completing 2 years of intensive study and training. We will celebrate the end of their training with a graduation ceremony and help them embrace their new beginning by finding sustainable employment that will allow them to provide for themselves and their families in ways they hadn’t dreamed possible just two years ago.
As we celebrate this time of new beginnings - both of our upcoming program graduates in Cambodia and of the addition of Cindy to our team - would you consider joining us in celebration of all God has done and all that He will continue to do? Thanks to the generosity of two CGI partners, we have the opportunity to raise funds as a matching gift. The first $10,000 raised by June 30 will be matched dollar for dollar. This means $10,000 in donations will become $20,000 and this is an amazing opportunity for your contribution to be doubled and to have an even greater impact!
These resources will be used to support the next classes of students in our Imprint and Culinary Training Center programs. You will help to make more new beginnings possible for 20 new students! This work only continues because of the generous support of partners like you!
