Throughout the pandemic, our instructors, many of whom are blind or low vision themselves, have been working hard to adapt our programs and training to the virtual world for their blind and low vision students. When you give to the Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc in Spokane, you are supporting these programs and so much more! Your generosity provides tools and training to over 50 people who are blind and DeafBlind in our community and is a beacon of hope for everyone learning that thriving after vision loss is possible.
Braille instruction and Computer Training have converted to remote training programs, with our instructors delivering effective and comprehensive training to people who are blind and DeafBlind at the Lighthouse and beyond. These remote trainings, based in our Spokane location, deliver vital tools and trainings throughout the state and nationwide.
