About Me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Lucas and I'm so grateful for Northeast Passage. I have always been a sports fanatic and I used to play soccer and baseball. I had to stop playing because it got too hard and so my family and I eventually found Power Soccer. I have been playing for about 10 to 11 years. It has changed my life because while I'm in a wheelchair I'm able to compete competitively and not feel like an outsider. I love that I'm able to express myself freely and the camaraderie I feel while I'm playing. Power soccer has also allowed me to meet lifelong friends and make relationships I might not have made anywhere else.
The money my teammates and I raise here will go towards travel expenses as we have a few out of state tournaments including a national tournament in Indiana each year. It will help with hotel costs too. This fundraiser also helps with registration fees, gym space costs and any new equipment like balls and any new wheelchairs for any new players. I hope you consider donating and any amount, big or small is greatly appreciated!
Thanks again,
Lucas
