he NEP Wildcats Wheelchair Lacrosse program is the newest competitive adaptive sport offered by Northeast Passage. Over the last few years Northeast Passage has grown this program from an idea into a viable competitive wheelchair lacrosse team practicing weekly through the summer months with a group of athletes dedicated to learning and progressing in the sport. The NEP Wheelchair Lacrosse program has hosted a WLUSA facilitated coaching clinic and players clinic and traveled to Denver to compete in the WLUSA Nationals for the first time at the end of August. With help from a grant, the team was also able to purchase a fleet of sports chairs specifically for the wheelchair lacrosse program. With your help, we can continue to grow this new sport provide opportunities for adaptive athletes in New England to compete in wheelchair lacrosse.
