Thank you for visiting my 2022 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.
I am grateful for your donations and for your help in spreading the word about preeclampsia. My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies!
Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
As many of you know, I had Mason at 25w6d. I was being closely monitor because I was already diagnosed with hypertension before i was pregnant. Even with going to the doctors every 2 weeks & knowing I have a high blood pressure, I did not know the signs of pre-eclampsia. I know my doctor told me at one our my appointments but when you're a first time mom, all the information gets confusing & you forget what was said. I was seeing spots for over a month & had very bad headaches too(which was semi normal for me since I have migraines). I didn't know those signs were signs of pre-eclampsia and if I never checked my blood pressure randomly at work, I do not think Mason & myself would have had such a good outcome. Please help me with my goal so we can help other mothers get the education that I strongly agree that they need.
