THANK YOU for joining me on my half-marathon training journey and also in honoring our Fallen by supporting the dreams of their children!  Angels of America's Fallen is a powerful organization that pairs children of Fallen military, police, firefighter and first responders with mentors and engages them in healthy activities in sports, music and the arts to build resilience. Angels helps the children of the Fallen write their own stories of success that are not solely defined by their loss, and yet still with intent around honoring their Fallen parent.

As a former civilian professor at West Point and as the spouse of a veteran, this mission means a lot to me. To find out more about Angels please click HERE.  The following video is a powerful representation of what the Angels Program is all about.Gianna never really got to know her father, as, after multiple deployments, he succumbed to his PTS and committed suicide.  Gianna is truly an incredible spark or light, energy and love!  She was only 5 when we made this video...

Sponsor My Half-Marathon Playlist!

Every penny counts to honor the Fallen by supporting the dreams of their children. You can do this in a FUN way by sponsoring songs for my half-marathon playlist! For every increment of $10, you can add a song to inspire me along my half-marathon route! I'm super slow, so I need at least 60 songs by 30 September to get me through. 

I'll be using Apple Music, so just make sure your song is available there. (I will actually do the purchasing with my own funds--not with your donation.) List the name of the song and the artist as part of the comments on your donation. No other rules, but I will likely put the most inspiring jams to pump me up somewhere around mile 11!!

I'm really looking forward to the songs you pick and to helping to support the Angels kids!
