Hello Friends and Family!

This spring, I have the incredible opportunity to join JOY International in the fight against human trafficking! As you know, I have a huge heart for helping children, so I have decided to join JOY International this spring to serve on our mission trip to Belize!

We will be running a camp for preteens in the Belmopan area around the theme of boundaries. Sexual abuse and trauma are widespread in Belize, so our camp will focus on body-positivity, our identity in Christ, personal boundaries, spiritual boundaries, appropriate contact, how to respond and report abuse, as well as giving a place for preteens to share in a safe and loving environment. 

We will also have the opportunity to travel to San Pedro island to work with kids who are at a high risk of abuse, exploitation, and trafficking; as well as, work with survivors who are on their healing journey of recovering from these same things. Our desire is to be a team of hope and JOY; teaching and encouraging those who are most at risk or are recovering from exploitation and trauma.

We seek to fight the darkness by bringing light and love, and battle trafficking of these children. My goal is to raise $2,500 to cover the costs of this trip so that I can provide the hands-on care for these children. Will you consider donating? All donations are tax-deductible and non-refundable.
