The BREAST Collar for the WILDEST Women of the West

For as long as the cowboys can remember, one of their most important pieces of tack was a breast collar: three pieces of leather strapped over the horse's shoulder which keeps their saddle from sliding up, back, side to side, or flopping around. Pioneer Women of the West will tell you they have a similar contraption strapped over their shoulders keeping their valuables from sliding up, back, side to side, or flopping around!
