Alisa's Fundraising Page
Hello Friends, Family, and Colleagues,
Welcome to my page! As you may know, I currently serves as a Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA) for the past 6 1/2 years. The first 5 years I worked in the Harlandale School District for the ACE program. This was an afterschool program that provided TEKS based enrichment activities for students to help promote learining, through fun hands on activities. I currently now work at Sincalir ES in the East Central School District as a Traditional Site Coordinator. I know focus more on the social emotional development of the students. This is done through meeting with the individually or in small groups. I faciliate social skills groups , small group enrichment activities and also run a Girl Scouts Troop with 2nd-4th grade students. In addition to helping with the social emotional development, I also help with basic needs such as clothing, food, and school supplies. I'm proud to work for CIS and i'm grateful you're taking time to learn more about our efforts.
If you don’t know much about CIS-SA, we support students in over 160 schools across 13 school districts to help them overcome any barriers to success. Whether it’s through academic support, assistance with basic needs, or mental health services and counseling, we are working hard to make sure the next generation is prepared to succeed and change the world.
Check out my page to learn more about thr different activites and services I provide to students.

First Girl Scouts meeting with some of the 3rd grade students. We set expectations and they got to decorate folders.
Girl Scouts
During this activity the Girl Scouts talked about sometimes needing tangible things to help us calm down or re-center ourselves when we are upset and not feeling our best. They created a happy place in a box. They were allowed to pick 5 things to put in their box, such as fidgets or slime, to help them when they are upset.
Fun with puzzles
Two of the Pre-K students practices their social skills by working together to build a puzzle.

Some of the 5th grades students used their creativity to express themselves through rock painting.
