Hello Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Welcome to my page! As you may know, I currently serve as an Associate Counselor for Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA). At CIS-SA, we support students in over 160 schools across 13 school districts in San Antonio and the surrounding areas to help them overcome barriers to success.  Whether it’s through academic support, assistance with basic needs, or mental health services and counseling, we are working hard to make sure the next generation is prepared to succeed and change the world. 

I have the honor of working with resiliant, hard working children every single day through mental health counseling. My program allows families in our community to receive individual, in person counseling for free in the school setting. I have been able to experience first hand the impact of increasing access to resources by removing financial and transportation barriers. On a daily basis I collaborate with school staff, administration, CIS colleagues, and families to ensure that our children receive the support, compassion and love that they deserve.  

We are currently raising money through the Champions Fore Charity fundraiser, which will help us continue serving students and families in need. Please consider donating and helping us with this agency-wide fundraiser. I hope you will join me in becoming a Champion fore Kids!
