Hello Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Welcome to my page! As you may know, I currently serve as a Senior Site Coordinator at Kate Schenck Elementary for Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA) for the past 5 years. I'm proud to work for CIS-SA, and I'm grateful you're taking the time to learn more about our efforts.

At CIS-SA, we support students in over 160 schools across 13 school districts in San Antonio and the surrounding areas to help them overcome barriers to success. Whether it’s through academic support, assistance with basic needs, or mental health services and counseling, we are working hard to make sure the next generation is prepared to succeed and change the world.

We are currently raising money through the Champions Fore Charity fundraiser, which will help us continue serving students and families in need. Please consider donating and helping us with this agency-wide fundraiser. I hope you will join me in becoming a Champion fore Kids!

Donors and partners of CIS help expand our students vision beyond what is to what can be by being exposed to having other partners on campus, by participating in out of school events, and challenging our students to excel in their acadmics and attendance.

Talk and Play Makes a Happy Student

Many of our students carry burden and responsibilities not meant for a child. Many of our students state they have not played some of the classic and popular board games. With your donations you assist in helping CIS create a safe place to be a child.

Girl Scouts

The generosity of community partners brings vital programming to our schools such as Girl Scouts at Schenck. Our Leaders participated in the Cookie Program. Selling over $4.000 in cookies. In addition, to learning business and leadership skills, the GS help raise money for the program. Our young Leaders are already contributing back to their communities. Thank you to donor's like you who help create these opportunities for young students who may not have had the opportunity to participate.

Your generous contributions help CIS purchase arts and crafts supplies. The students enjoying creating and working with their hands as they talk about heavy subjects.

Celebrating YOU

The donations not only help provide vital basic needs such as school supplies, food, clothes, and hygiene items but also supplies to celebrate our student's milestones and accomplishments in and out of school. This fosters the feeling of acceptance and belonging that will positively impact their academic and social development.

Guess who the 2023 Valero Texas Open Champion will be for a chance to win a Stay & Play Gift Package to TPC San Antonio and the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Participating donors who have provided an email address will receive an email from tournament officials allowing them to select from the player field who they believe will win the tournament.

The winner will be drawn from those who correctly guessed the tournament champion and receive the grand prize, along with earning the benefiting charity a donation of $5,000.

If more than one person correctly guesses, a drawing amongst those who guessed correctly will be conducted. If no one correctly guesses, a drawing among all donors will take place. Click here for a list of contest rules.

Three (3) night stay at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa
Breakfast for two (2) each morning
Two (2) rounds of golf for two at TPC San Antonio
