Lancer Pink Fun Run

We are fundraising for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF) because we want to make a real difference in the fight against breast cancer for Virginians.

 

Date: Saturday September 16, 2023

Time: 11:00 AM following the collegiate competition

Location: Longwood Cross Country Course across from the Longwood Athletic Complex on 1500 Johnston Drive Farmville, VA 23909

Donate $5 to participate in the Fun run/walk and raffle and $25 for a t-shirt. E-mail Head Coach Brooke Craig with your t-shirt size and intent to run/walk at craigab@longwood.edu

 

 VBCF is the only statewide, state-based non-profit in the Commonwealth serving Virginians impacted by breast cancer. VBCF’s mission is to empower Virginians impacted by breast cancer through access, advocacy, education, and community action. VBCF offers free breast health education and resources; support kits for newly diagnosed patients, caregivers, and survivors; and advocates for improved health care and breast cancer research. In 2022, VBCF established a Screening and Diagnostic Services Fund to assist Southwest Virginians in financial need and plans to establish a metro Richmond/Petersburg fund in 2023.
