It was only the beginning for me but I got an opportunity to plunge with many other new Special Olympics fundraiseing friends into snow and ice cover Lake Michigan. The rest is history.
On Sunday, March 5, 2023 I will be participating in the 2023 Chicago Polar Plunge, celebrating more than 20 years of plunging! I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump in to Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of athletes that participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
