As an added bonus, after the event in Palatine, anyone that donates greater than $25 to the team will be invited to the 3rd annual Green Team donor Party. The donor party features all-you-can-eat corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and an open bar in addition to live entertainment featuring the famous Ritchie Shep belting out his tunes. This is a HUGE thank you to all that have donated. It IS appreciated by the team and all the Special Olympic athletes thank you as well.
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, I will be participating in the 2023 Chicago Polar Plunge, celebrating more than 20 years of plunging! I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump into Lake Virginia's icy waters to support thousands of athletes that participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
