TWO OPTIONS TO PARTICIPATE
Once you’ve registered, you’ll see a button to Start Bidding Now on the confirmation page to set up your auction account and bid on items. You’ll also receive an email of your auction ticket with a link to enter the auction. Look for an email with a subject line that includes, “Your [name of the auction] Ticket.” You can edit your registration details if you want. Then click Set Up Account to Bid. You’ll be prompted to enter a new password. Then click Create My Password. If you checked the box to Save payment for future use during registration, you won’t need to add a payment method when you enter the auction. If you didn’t check the box, you’ll be prompted to add a Payment Method. You can skip this step and add a payment method later, but you won't be able to bid on items until you've added one. At the end of the auction, a popup will appear, telling you the event has ended. The popup includes a link to the My Activity page so you can see what’ve you’ve won and complete your transaction. NOTE: Web-Based bidding does not support customization of your bidding profile. You will need to monitor the desired items you are bidding to increase if you have been out bid.
Navigating the App
Once you’ve registered and created your account, you can enter the auction in Givi by installing the Givi app on your mobile device. From the Givi home screen, tap Login to log in to your account and enter the auction. If you still need to register, tap Find My Event, and then use the search to locate the event you'd like to register for. You can also log in using Google, Facebook, or Apple credentials, but only if you used one of those methods for your initial account setup. If you used an email address to set up your account, you’ll need to use that method for all future logins. Once you've logged in, you'll be on the Givi home screen. To enter the auction, tap Events at the bottom of the screen. Any events you've registered for will be displayed on this screen. Tap Enter Auction to view items and start bidding. If you didn't save a payment method during registration, you'll be prompted to add a Payment Method and then to allow Notifications. We recommend you do both now for a smooth bidding and checkout process. NOTE: Downloading the app provides notifications when out-bid to your profile and pre-set bids on desired items.
