Our team, The B's Knees, is excited to walk again to support the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area. I am raising funds to support the bleeding disorders community in the National Capital area, which includes my two kids Kirstin and Spencer who are both affected by hemophilia B. HACA has provided our family with so much support and education over the years. We have learned to better advocate for their care and to have access to the medications they need. We have also been able to connect to many local familites dealing with the same/similar issues over the years, which enables conversations about tackling issues that arise.
