My sweet girl was diagnosed with T1D at age 5. Initially she was afraid and felt alone in her struggles with this this disease.. BUT , Camp Seale Harris has changed her outlook and perspective on T1D. When she attended this camp for the 1st time.. she came to life .. she realized she was not alone... and I got my sweet girl back . Bc the truth is .. she felt lost and alone... and no matter how hard I tried to make her feel better .. it did not work.. She needed to be around other children like her ... that were fighting like her. This camp is vital and lifesaving , not only for her but me too.
