Jan, Kent & I will be walking a mile barefooted, Aug 26th, in solidarity with impoverished and trafficked children.  The organization, JOY INTERNATIONAL, works to rescue, restore and reintergrate children, teens and young women who have been victims of sex trafficking.  JOY also works to not only bring awareness to, but actively prevent the sexual exploitation of children domestically and internationally. 

"Awareness without action is apathy." - Dr Jeff Brodsky, JOY International founder and president who has been barefoot EVERY day since July, 19, 2010 in solidarity with those trafficed, in an attempt to raise awareness and resources for rescue operations.

The walk is Saturday, August 26th.  Please help us support this very worthwhile organization.
