Our two sons have hemophilia and have experienced challenges such as multiple trips to the emergency department, joint bleeds, and adverse reactions to medicine as a result. We choose our team name, Wonderfully Made, because we believe God knew Hayden and Declan even before they were born and that He created them as wonderful, special and unique individuals. We walk to educate the community about bleeding disorders and to raise funds vital for improving the quality of life of those affected. Bleeding Disorders Foundation of NC does a fantastic job of using the funds raised to greatly benefit members through education, advocacy, resources, and programs.

Swimming is special to Hayden. Not only is it safe because of his hemophilia, it is a sport he loves. Hayden would like to use his swimming ability to raise money for Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina (BFDNC). BDFNC uses donated funds to help improve the quality of life of those affected by various bleeding disorders.
