Nevada Sage Waldorf School students enjoy a rich and diverse curriculum every day of the school year. These Specialty subject classes include French, Strings, Music/Choir, Handwork, Woodwork, and Movement & Games. They enrich the students' overall learning experiences, and are complementary to their core academic subjects such as language arts, math, and science. Students benefit from NSWS Specialty classes by fostering creativity, concentration, self-expression, perseverance and pride in their work. In essence, our Specialty Teachers are critical to bringing our students a well-rounded education - every day!
Please help support the NSWS Specialty Teachers by donating to this Fund-A-Need.
All donations will directly support our Specialty Teachers and class offerings. Our students and teachers thank you in advance for recognizing the importance of a strong Specialty class curriculum, and for supporting continued diverse programming.
At Nevada Sage Waldorf School our goal is to make Waldorf education available to all children, regardless of financial circumstances.
Our school community embraces the joy of learning and provides an education that enlivens the whole child with rich experiences, daily and weekly rhythms, along with seasonal festivals that celebrate the passage of time with beauty, meaning, and purpose.
Nevada Sage Waldorf is a Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Grades K-8 independent, nonsectarian school, and holds the status of a non-profit 501c3 private school receiving no assistance from the State of Nevada for our budget.
We operate our developing school on a tight budget funded by our parent body and generous donors to our Spring Silent Auction. Contributions from our families and friends help bridge the gap between tuition and the funds required to run our school.
Thank you for your continued support of Nevada Sage Waldorf School.
