Join me in fundraising on behalf of Team JA New York! This will support local area students by providing vital programs that teach financial literacy, entreprenuership, and work readiness. As an elementary teacher and math coach, Junior Achievement is near and dear to my heart. My students learned SO much from Junior Achievement about saving and spending money, operations with decimals, workplace readiness skills and more. JA Biztown was a core memory for many of my students and from the math coach perspective, Junior Achievement is a critical part of math education and preparing our children for the real world! I used to be someone who hated math, and now I LOVE math and teaching math. I also used to hate running, and now I absolutely love running--so I love motivating others by showing them that anything is possible! This will be my first marathon and I am so honored to be part of the JA New York Team for the New York City Marathon 2023!
