I am so proud and excited to row for the UNC Men's Crew team! We are a group of highly motivated and hardworking student athletes who devote countless hours to our sport and to each other. Although we are a prestigious and long-running team at UNC, we are still a club in status. Therefore, the university does not provide us with the funding necessary for full successful operations. For our Ergathon fundraiser, we will be rowing a rowing machine in the middle of campus for 24 hrs straight (~30 min shift each) from midnight on October 14th to midnight of the 15th - an example of the hard work and sweat we put in to show how much this sport and this team mean to us. Rowing is a very fun and demanding team sport but equipment and travel for regattas and training is not cheap. We are soliciting donations to help us maintain our boats and enable us to fund training trips and regattas for the entire year. A portion of the funds raised will also be donated back to the community as we support Eyes Ears Nose and Paws, a local service dog organization. We do not take your donation lightly and thank you for your support!
